Walk a Mile in Her Shoes
A college friend of mine has organized this kick-ass event that happens on Saturday in Westminster, MD. Men are encouraged to slip on women’s shoes and walk a mile in them to symbolically “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” and raise awareness of rape and sexual assault in the county. It will also raise funds for the Rape Crisis of Carroll County center. Women are welcome to walk with their guys and encourage them, too.
And fellas, if you’re not excited yet, know that the Rape Crisis center is raffling off a pair of heels signed by Joe Flacco, Ray Lewis, John Harbaugh, and other Ravens players.
